Make An Appointment
Please call the receptionist at 515.243.1020. She will answer any questions you have and schedule an appointment for you. It is not necessary to speak directly with the counselor to schedule an appointment.
We are Providers for most insurance companies. By calling the 800 number on the back of your insurance card (specifically for mental health benefits) you will be able to determine if any of our counselors are Providers for your specific insurance carrier. Additionally, you will be able to determine your mental health benefits and whether or not pre-authorization is necessary. Again, our receptionist is able to assist you with this process. Please have your insurance card available when you call to schedule the initial appointment for yourself or family members.
Additionally, when you call to make an initial appointment, our receptionist will want to know some basic information. For example, what the presenting concerns are (in general terms); whether you would like to schedule with a specific counselor; your gender preference for a counselor; your preference of time and day to schedule; and any special considerations about your personal situation.
On the date of your initial appointment, please arrive approximately ten minutes early to complete necessary paperwork. We will also need to copy your insurance card at that time.
